Read this quote today from one of the readings I get in my mail.

Because you did nothing to earn your place in God's family, you can do nothing to lose it. 
It stands on the verse: 
"Dear friends, God the Father chose you long ago and knew you would become His children." (1 Peter 1:2 LB)

God chose you long before you were born, long before you decided to even think about him. Like that verse in Philippians 1 you were predestined a long long time ago right when God was creating heaven and earth he had you and me in mind. He had everything about you all planned out that means no matter what you are going through today know one thing he had you in mind then, he has you in mind now and you will always be in his mind so its a sure shot that he has a plan and a purpose for you. 

Long before humans walked the face of the earth, long before God decided he would make heaven and earth he knew he was going to make you. He knew how he was going to make you and what you he was going to make you into. so just 'stand still and let God move' He knows what he is doing.
